If you ever wondered that there should be some kind of stages of progress for planting particular seeds too, then the developers of Farmville have finally introduced the feature to make farming more interesting. The feature has just been recently introduced.  

Earn More Than Just Coins

Just like the job mastery feature in Mafia Wars, Zynga’s other popular social networking game, crop mastery has been introduced in Farmville. With each harvest executed of a particular seed, the users will achieve crop mastery for it in three levels.  

The progress of the crop mastery bar for a particular seed can be observed just below its icon under the Seeds tab in the Market window. As you plant and harvest that seed, the bar will grow. The three levels of the crop mastery for the seed are denoted by three stars.  

There are different numbers of harvest counts, which make up the crop mastery levels for different seeds. For example, if you harvest 425 crops of grapes, then you will achieve the first level of crop mastery for the seed. Similarly, if you go on to harvest 850, and then 1,275 crops of grapes, then you will earn the second level and third level of crop mastery for the seed sequentially.  

The points gained for crop mastery will be separate and different to the experience points that help in leveling. With the achievement of every new level of crop mastery, the users will be rewarded with special bonuses.  

A New Motivation for Planting & Harvesting
